Hey, great to have you here! Center Rog is a place where your ideas can come to life. This Wiki can be your repository — a space for open-source projects, idea exploration, and inspiration, where you can share your experiences and get excited about other creations. Everything starts here — from a small experiment to a full-fledged project.

What exactly are Labs?

Imagine a district where machines hum instead of people. These are the Labs — your creative corner in the very heart of Ljubljana.

On more than 8,500 m² of the former bicycle factory, we have created one of the largest creative hubs in the region. This is not a space for watching from afar, but for hands-on work — here people cut, sew, print, and make. Beginners picking up a saw for the first time are welcome, as well as professional makers who need serious equipment for their projects.

What can you actually do in the Labs?

Boredom is impossible at Center Rog! Each lab houses its own equipment and machines, allowing you to bring your ideas to life — from 3D printing and laser cutting to sewing, welding, sawing, and throwing clay. Your first step to any lab:

1. Membership:

Just like libraries or sports clubs, we also operate on a membership basis. This is the first requirement for using the labs. Membership lasts for a full year and costs €15 – your ticket into the world of creation!

2. Trainings:

Nobody is born knowing everything, so first you need to learn how to handle our machines and tools safely. Even if you have a workshop at home, chances are you don’t have our equipment – that’s why we want to get to know you and teach you how to use them correctly.

Tudi če imaš doma delavnico, je velika verjetnost, da naših strojev nimaš – zato se želimo spoznati in te naučiti, kako jih pravilno uporabljati.

3. User Package:

This is the second-to-last step before you can start making. Different packages are available – Quick fingers, Monthly Package, and Yearly Package. The packages grant you access to the labs, where a mentor is available to answer questions, machines are ready to use, and basic consumable materials are provided. 4. Book your slot:

The final step is to book an available time slot. Once you have:

an active membership,
completed training,
chosen a user package,

… you can access the calendar of available slots and choose your own. With your membership card, you can enter the lab at your reserved time and start making!
